Hi,

Here is a new mission I made that I'd like to get uploaded to the server.

It's basicly a survival mission where you are vastly outnumbered by the enemy thanks to Spawnmanager with AI update.

Did a bit of testing.

Cool idea!
New tank hit effects noted.

Bugs:
Ammo crate loading script doesn't seem to active every time. No idea why. Even more confusing that it works OK in editor.

Ideas:
Maybe change the truck/jeep to more exotic vehicles from the CBT pack?

Dragon launcher instead of Javelin! Better crosshair for locking and the ability to manually guide the rocket defenitely make it the weapon of choice.

Finally, the temptation of driving along the coast edge to avoid the enemy got the better of me Razz


Something could be added to punish this kind of behaviour Smile
Or just make the second objective mandatory for victory.

Yeah that is one short coming I had thought about. Going to have to find a solution. Something I found playing off line last night is because all infantry spawns at once in some cases they will attack you from all over the island. Might need spawn sectors that activate as you progress north on the island.

I don't get the ammo crate thing.

Nice mission created zulu1 good one, but the why enemy body and weapon disappear gone? your mission is on server now but me and skif play today, we can't load your ammobox and medic box no transportation nothing? Oh i see Siil finished your map screenshot awesome beat already, I see the briefing is problem no green check 2nd object?

Seems to be several issues with things not executing. Everything worked fine in the editor and it's the same template as a couple of other missions I've done that work fine.

And Siil cheated so I need to find a way to prevent that. Maybe just some simple fence placements. Mines and barrages haven't produced the desired effect.

Hello,

I think I fixed the ammo crate loading, I moved the script call higher up in the init.sqs.

I reduced the soundfx triggers per LTS.

OBJ 2 triggers seem to be fine.

Coastal access in now restricted and in some areas the player will be rewarded for his efforts.

Ok,

This should be the final fix. I narrowed it down to the Spawnmangler entry in the init file. It uses this line

which was keeping all the client side stuff from loading because it was too far up in the order. Now it's at the bottom.

After a whole Saturday spent with quite a few players on the server the mission played pretty well. Some things were noted and addressed in this update.

-Delete dead body delay was increased to 5 minutes by wishes of LTS-1GT
-Exploding bodies issue dealt with (I hope)
-Coastal access revisited
-Many un-needed fence objects removed
-Added some random vehicles and other objects
-Several other mission enhancements done

I think this will be the final update for this.

-removed secondary respawn of enemy
-added 1 unit to each enemy group
-reduced usage of AI hunt/reaction script
-combined weapons and magazines all into transportable boxes

No need replace not good more issue, better remove old out, then put new in much better improve and fresh.
